A selection of our recent conservation and new-build projects
We were asked to retrieve a number of the original cast iron balusters from store in a private house in Eccles. We then designed, manufactured and installed a recreation of the original balcony balustrade with handrail.
It is a little known fact that the fantastic gardens at Tatton Park, Cheshire are irrigated using water pumped from a stream to holding reservoirs situated near to the house.
We manufactured two new brass and iron handrails to replicate two other existing handrails to the main entrances.
We restored historic iron shopfronts, balconies and cast iron pavement lights at Sunlight House.
Replication, New Build
We designed and manufactured two new cast iron windows complete with opening lights, to return the building to its original appearance.
We cast a new plaque in solid bronze using purpose-made pattern work then finished and installed the plaque, all within six weeks of receiving the order!
We carried out extensive off site repairs, reglazing and reinstatement of a number of large iron windows.
Full restoration of an eighty-metre long veranda covering an internal quadrangle courtyard.
