Buxton Opera House
Built in 1903, Buxton’s GdII* listed Opera House was designed by Britain’s most celebrated theatre architect, Frank Matcham who was also responsible for designing the Hackney Empire and the London Coliseum.
Our work involved dismantling, checking and reassembling the original fire door actuators which are still in use.
