Gates & railings, Failsworth Cemetery, Oldham

New iron double gates were manufactured to the council’s design. The pedestrian gates were blast cleaned and painted and graffiti was cleaned off the stone piers. Pier repairs also included carving embellishments to match the existing ones.

Remnants from a range of cast iron railings next to the gates allowed us to accurately replicate missing parts. Original sections were retained. Sections of the dwarf wall were rebuilt, and gaps in copings were made good with matching stone.
