Leopold Hotel, Sheffield

Formerly Sheffield’s Boys Grammar School, the Leopold Hotel is a Gd.II listed building that incorporates cast iron railings alongside basement lightwells. A length of the railings were severely damaged by a vehicle strike.

A combination of replica castings and welding techniques were used to rebuild the panels which were traditionally reinstalled using molten lead.

“I have been most impressed with the way you have dealt with our situation from start to finish”, Richard Lowe, Operations Manager, Leopold Hotel.
