Strawberry Hill House, Twickenham
Strawberry Hill is internationally famous as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic Revival architecture. The recent HLF supported £9M restoration included replicating the entrance gates as the original gates had not survived.
Cast iron panels represent strawberry plants weave around a formal scroll arrangement. Furniture, including hinges and bolts, were faithfully reproduced by hand.
The gates were made and assembled by Welland Joinery and we installed them.
