Woodbank Memorial Park, Stockport

Woodbank Memorial Park was gifted to the people of Stockport by Sir Thomas Rowbotham, JP, in memory of those who died in the 1914-18 war. Stockport Building Preservation Trust commissioned a refurbishment of the entrance portico to mark the centenary.

The central iron panel has been replicated to replace the original one which was lost. The bronze lettering applied to the portico frieze has been cleaned and lacquered. Finally we manufactured and fitted a commemorative bronze plaque.
